TGIF! We made it through another week. I may or may not be writing this post with a glass of wine in my hand.... Did you all celebrate Pirate Week? I had such a fun time celebrating with "me hearties" that I think I am going to have to continue to use a pirate theme next week too. Plus, I found SO many cute pirate activities that one week is just not long enough. Want to see what we were up to?
Here is a peek into my week...
PS- you wont find any pictures of me getting crafty this week! Although I am hosting a Pinterest party at my house tonight so maybe I'll have some up next week :)

This week we read one of my favorite pirate books, How I Became a Pirate by Melinda Long & David Shannon
After we read the story, we had some fun!
We made our own pirates!
We practiced some Pirate Pronouns!
We answered comprehension questions from Jenn Alcorn's How I Became a Pirate companion!
We did some Treasure Chest Category Sorting!
I love pirate week... and clearly the kids do too. If you need some "piratey"ideas for your speech room, you can check out my Pirate Week Pinterest board here.
This was my week! I'd love to hear how your week went.
