Welcome to my 'Simply Speech!' blog. This blog is geared towards SLP's in the school setting. I decided to blog this year to share ideas and hopefully get new ideas in return! Currently, I am sitting here on the couch with a cup of coffee soaking in every last second left of summer break!! Back to work on Monday!
For those of you that don't know me, I am a speech-language pathologist at a public school in Pinellas County. Most of the children I work with are in preschool through 2nd grade. I also do private therapy on the side, but the majority of my experience is in the school setting. I graduated from The University of Central Florida in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders. From there, I received my Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2009 at The University of South Florida.
Can't wait to see what this year has in store!!
