Don't you just love Fall? I love Fall for the weather (it's finally below 90 here!) and all the fun activities we get to do in speech. This week I had a lot of fun in and out of the speech room. I even got the inside of my house looking a little festive, too!
I finally got my chevron table runners in the mail this week! Do you use the website GroopDealz? I am in love! I have found so many cute things on that site for really cheap. I also found some super cute holiday printables here! Mix that with a little Pinterest, and I'm feeling festive :)
This week we read the classic story, Stone Soup by Ann Mcgovern
After we read the story, we used my Stone Soup Speech & Language Story Companion to have a little fun. My favorite activity in the pack is the "In My Soup"game. Kids take turns choosing food or non food items out of the pile and decide if they want it in their soup or not. The always laugh when they choose the socks card!
Check out the bottom of this post for a chance to win a free copy of this activity!
We also did a little fishing with my Photo Fish game by Super Duper! I love using this game to assess/ work on letter names and sounds.
I started pulling out the Halloween apps this week. The one in the picture above is called Treat Street. So far, that one is a hit! Look for a future blog post about some fun and festive apps I found this week. If you have any favorites, please share!!
Last but not least, I got another activity added into my store. Maybe it was the decorating or the Pinterest hunting but I finally got my Halloween Thematic Unit completed!
As promised, enter below to win a copy of Stone Soup: Speech & Language Story Companion! 3 lucky winners will be announced on Tuesday. Good luck and have an awesome weekend!!
